tonight after dinner at pine craft park, i noticed alivia would not stop picking her nose.
then, i saw the tiniest bit of blood; so i decided to investigate the situation.
upon looking in my child's nose i noticed a foreign object stuck pretty far up her nostril.
i placed one finger over the clear nostril and told her to blow....
and out flew a bloody kernel of corn!
it looked like a freshly lost tooth.
gross!

oh alivia! as a nurse i've heard of that happening so many times...just be glad that she could blow it out! still very gross!
eeeeewww!!
and be glad it didn't require a trip to the ER, numerous x-rays to find where it went, and then a trip to the pediatric ENT...
...not that i'd know about that. :)
